Lethal!

This knife is an impressive example of Spyderco's design philosophy -- it's all killer, no filler!

Like their infamous Civilian, and other knives created for martial purposes, it's a singular design. The most impressive thing is the blade to handle ratio, the best I've ever seen. The handle ergonomics are excellent and the scale material -- a sort of G10/CF blend -- is light and has excellent texture. The blade is razor sharp and has a very sharp tip. The compression lock is easier to deactivate than on my Yojimbo 2. I think at some point they started using a lighter grade of steel as mine was a very early one.

The only thing I would wish to change is the blade steel -- K390 rather than S30V, being that K390 is a tough tool steel, takes a brutally sharp edge, and is generally, very well suited to this type of knife in my honest opinion. If they ever did a sprint run like that, I'd have to get it. Hint, hint!

All in all, yet another excellent piece of cutlery from Spyderco and Taichung, long may that relationship prosper! Service from Martin was impeccable, as usual.
