Description

We Knife Company has been in the game for a long time but has only recently begun manufacturing their own designs. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built, so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price.

The 2101 Miscreant 3.0 combines Brad Zinker's one-of-a-kind build construction with We's top-notch manufacturing process for a knife that hits all the right notes. This is the smaller EDC-friendly companion to the 913 Miscreant, which is one of the largest knives that you can even get from We. It features the same drop point blade shape, this time in CPM-20CV. The full titanium handle measures a measly 0.36" thick, weighing just 2.29 ounces, so it carries like it's not even there. The squared-off handle is We's contribution to this compact collaboration and we like both the look of it and the feel you get in the hand and the pocket. It may not appear it but this knife is extremely ergonomic during use and we love its ultra-precise, clean look.

6 Starts if In could updated

I made a mistake in my review and can't edit it so I'm updating it here. The Miscreant actually has a longer cutting edge than the Para 3. That may make a different to some that are undecided. It's an excellent knife.

6 Stars if I could

This is one incredible knife, I’m surprised that it seems to fly under the radar. So good in fact that I’m considering buying the grey titanium version, when the budget allows, to have the set.

I bought it as an alternative to my Para 3 LW and as much as I really enjoy the Para 3, the Miscreant has pretty much kicked it out of my pocket. It’s lighter, narrower, has the same amount of cutting edge, and completely hides in my pocket. Closed, the whole knife easily fits within the Para 3’s handle but it somehow doesn’t seem that small when I take it out to use, it’s like WE have applied magic here. I have medium size hands and manage to get a 4 finger grip. The knife has the best blade to handle ratio of any of the knives I own, I can’t imagine any else bettering it.
I though that the blocky nature of the handle may be an issue but I was way off base. The neutral ergos make the knife super comfortable with no noticeable hotspots.
The blade 20CV came wicked sharp form the factory and after a bunch of use I’ve yet to resharpen it. A quick strop and it’s good to go for an age all over again. It’s my first experience with 20CV and it really hasn't disappointed. With some flat and some belly, the blade is perfect for what I do with it day-to-day.
The Miscreant 3.0 is easy to disassemble and maintain. Undo a few body screws and the pivot and you’re in there. No need to remove the pocket clip.
The pocket clip grips like Hulk to a hotdog, so much so that I took it off and adjusted it slightly so that my pocket didn’t scream for mercy every time the knife went near it.
Running on bearings, the action was great straight out of the box and got better over time and even better after the knife’s first service. Detent is spot on.
I can’t recommend this knife highly enough. If you’re on the fence, buy it. You won’t be disappointed.
