Happy w service and product

Can't fault The Knife Guy on service!
Cold Steel Recon 1 awesome. Tanto blade wouldn't be my personal 1st choice for EDC but this will be a duty knife and I think blade style is perfect for intended application. Blade opening a bit stiff straight out of box but loosens up and can be sorted out with a bit of maintenance. Aesthetically, knife is a beast!

Great EDC

Very fast shipping! Very strong knife. Great Size. Best grip on a folder I have ever had.. just feels right. Carries very flat in my pocket. Locking mechanism not as smooth as my SR1 Lite, and is still being “broken in”, but strong as a tank! Factory edge was uneven.. but after re-profiling & sharpening, it cuts like a razor. Blade perfect thickness. Perfect edc!

Quality

This is my go to EDC, this review however is coming from the original model with CTS XHP steel.
