Modern blade for the traditionalist

Let me start of by saying thank you to Martin and the Knife Guy for excellent service as always. When it comes to blades I am a bit of a traditionalist and thus enjoy bowie style blades with the old thumb nick and are not so much into the modern type of fast deploying frame/linear locks and prefer a good old solid backlock knife. I am also into knives with metal frame construction,or metal scales as I tend using my knives for various applications such as cutting into greasy old rubber pipes or opening silicone holders that would normally result in the knife getting exposed to these materials. With the all metal construction is is easy to merely wipe the knife and you are good to go. Apart from that when cutting fruits like apples or enjoying a piece of meat next to the braai, the knife can easily be rinsed and you are good to go. I was looking for a blade that would supplement my current edc, a SAK Pioneer Allox, as I need some kind of multi tool in my day to day workings, but sometimes I felt a bit under knifed and that is when I stumbled upon this CrJb. Beautiful knife, with traditional looking blade but blended with all the modern amenities such as a pocket clip, thumb studs and metal frame construction. The only thing I was worried about was the button lock locking mechanism. So I did my research and ended up giving it a try. I can tell you I was pleasantly surprised and very happy and would most probably not revert to any other type of locking mechanism again. I am not going to tell you about how the blade came razor sharp, dead centered and in perfect condition, because that is obviously to be expected when dealing with the Knife Guy. What I can say is this knife is highly recommended and a blade to be proud of.
